Meet Padmapriya Balakrishnan - the visionary architect behind Ceramic Affairs. Her passion for preserving and reviving traditional building crafts and techniques is truly awe-inspiring. Having completed her Bachelors in Architecture in 2014, Padmapriya developed an immense interest in the timeless traditional building crafts that were slowly fading away. Her love for these practices drove her to establish a manufacturing unit for cement tiles under the name VEEYA in Coimbatore in the year 2016.
Padmapriya’s forte in creating unique designs and innovative techniques blend the traditional and the contemporary with remarkable ease. Undoubtedly her tiles are the best sought-after choice for prestigious residential and commercial projects pan India. Her work at VEEYA is not only a business venture but a meaningful endeavour to keep India's rich cultural heritage alive and thriving.
Apart from her inspiring work at VEEYA, Padmapriya is an active member of several institutions in Coimbatore, where she shares her vast knowledge and expertise with the younger generation of architects.
